Jack, here is the information I said I would send you about the World
Wide Packet Radio Listing. First is a listing of the data fields in the
Database file. Second is a brief description of each Data Field. Lastly,
is the Activity Codes used in the IDENT field.

Detail Descriptions
1. INDEX - Special index used by database only for sorting purposes.
2. CALL_Sign - Call Sign of the station to include the SSID (e.g.,
( K4NGC-1)
3. ALIASES - AX.25 Aliases used by Digipeaters and NODES. Some PBBS's
have assigned Aliases because they are using BPQ Code.
4. TYPE - DIGI for Digipeater and PBBS for Packet BBS
5. CITY - Name of the City where PBBS or Digipeater is located.
6. STATE - State or Provence where the Digipeater or PBBS is located
7. COUNTRY - Eight position field indicating country.
8. ZIP - US Zip or Foreign Postal Code where activity located.
9. GRID - Map Grid where transmitter is located. Mostly used for
HF Activity.
10. FREQUENCY - Frequency that transmitter/Receiver is on.
11. IDENT - Activity Ident code. see ACT CODE Listing.
12. LAST_UPDAT - Date that this item was last updated.
13. SOURCE - Source of the update (e.g., K4NGC, LU3AGJ, etc)
14. FULL_CNTRY - Full spelling of country (e.g., United States, etc)
15. STATION - Interface with PARSE Program. Call Sign without SSID.
16. X12_CNTRY - Three position X.12 protocol country code.
17. X12_CONT - Two position X.12 protocol Continent Code
18. FIRST_BBS - Used by database to select certain call signs so that the
BBS only appears once in a listing. Used with HIEARCH
Listing.
19. HIEARCH - HIEARCH Call Sign of the PBBS (e.g., K4NGC.VA.USA.NA,
WA4ONG.VA.USA.NA, etc.). Used for Hiearch routing of
PBBS Mail.
20. CCITT_DCC - Three digit code indicating the country where activity
is located. CCITT Protocol.
21. BLANK_FLD - Used by database only on certain ASCII listings.

B - DIGI - TNC-2 or Clone (Dumb Digipeater)
C - DIGI - Layer 3/4 Node (Network Node)
D - DIGI - ROSE Switch
E - DIGI - TEXNET
F - DIGI - TCP Switch
G - DIGI - TCP Gateway
H - DIGI - KANODE (Without Gateway)
I - DIGI - KANODE (With Gateway)
J - DIGI - 9600 Baud TNC (Backbone Frequency)
K - DIGI - 56 KB TNC (Backbone Frequency)
L - DIGI - Packet Radio Repeater
M - DIGI - 2400 Baud TNC
N - DIGI - 1200/2400 Baud TNC
O - DIGI - Converse Mode
P - DIGI - G8BPQ NetWork BIOS
# - DIGI - This is a Backbone Frequency and users
are requested not to use it.
